Guest guest
Hi All, Coming out of the shadows with a request, if I may :-) I have seen a carry bag for holding EO bottles that's made from t-shirt material and want to make myself one, but it was ages ago now & I have no idea where to start ! Have any of you seen (or better still, made) these ? They're padded and have about 6 or 9 compartments for the bottles. I'd love to have a pattern/instructions if anyone can help. I *think* I saw it at an AT conference in Sydney ... and have it in my mind that someone visiting from England made it, but can't remember for sure. I think I could make one if I had instructions, but can't get my head around how to do it ! Jane in Oz :-))

I have one of these and find it's not quite stable enough to carry bottles in. The one I saw was shaped just like a 'normal' wooden carry box with square compartments. Maybe I can adapt the bingo bag pattern somehow ... Jane :-))

We had one day where it almost got down to 3 degrees (that's Celsius, folks!) and the rest has been most very mild. Will be a bit different in a couple of months as we expect to be moving (finally!) to the farm by then & I think we'll catch the last few frosts at the end of winter. Haven't had a frost in ant of our back yards for the last 20+ years, so it'll be a bit of a change for us. And our chilli plants ;-) Once we're in & settled, I'll probably poke my head in to the list a lot more often ... it's been a weird year so far (I'm still waiting to get to the end of January, it seems ;-) ) and I've been uncharacteristically uncommunicative. Hermitlike even ;-) All the best for your own move (yes, I do *read* a lot of the list posts *lol*) - hope it all goes smoothly & you all settle in well :-)) *hugs* Jane :-))
Guest guest
There is a site that sells something similar, or sounds like what you are talking about. They had them for sale at the Herb show in Tempe, plus they are listed on their site, and I think they are on sale right now. Only thing is, and you may or may not have a problem with this....not sure how, but they appear to be linked with YL'ing eo's. They sell Gary Young books and tapes, etc. Anyway, if you want, you can check out the following: www.abundant-health4u.com Christy - Jane Eliza Friday, July 18, 2003 3:52 PM EO carry case Hi All, Coming out of the shadows with a request, if I may :-) I have seen a carry bag for holding EO bottles that's made from t-shirt material and want to make myself one, but it was ages ago now & I have no idea where to start ! Guest guest
Hi Chrisy, Yes, the boxes at the bottom are the sort of thing I'm after .... thanks for the link! Now if I can just find a pattern for them... I'm not interested in buying one, 'cos it's the making it that interests me! I've unearthed a cupboard in the garage that's full of pieces of materials I thought I'd given away ages ago and so now I'm thinking of things to make with it all, and among other things, these carry cases came to mind. I've had trouble figuring out how to make the inserts mainly, although my man came up with a way to do them this afternoon, so maybe between us we'll eventually manage to work out something ! Guest guest
Christy I'd like to thank you for sharing this site with all of us I was not in the market for a holder, but I have been looking for the small 1/2 ounce dropper bottles at a reasonable price. Even though it does appear that it is associated with YL - the prices are very good and I found *exactly* what I was looking for!! Does anyone else know where I may find these sort of bottles either the 1/2 ounce dropper or a 1-ounce with dropper at a decent price? ANy help would be great. These would be mainly used for FO's to sell to people for their diffusers, light rings, etc. as I am being asked quite a bit for these lately. Thanks again! Guest guest
Becky, That's great you found your dropper bottles! I bought a handful of their 5/8 dram green bottles, because they were just so cool looking. She also had nasal inhalers that you add your own eo's to the wick, then assemble it, and presto, homemade inhalers! Picked up a handful of those, also. I *think* the gal who runs this is a YL'ing distributor, and she has expanded her business to include accessories, and other legitimate AT books. And Jane, as far as a pattern for the carrying case, that's a tough one. The dividers would be the problem for me. Good luck!
