VCO Update (Was VCO idea**Greasy feel)

Hi Cheryl,

 

Sorry for the wait. I talked to Tropical Traditiona again yesterday and the lady

ssured me that the rest of the VCO will indeed arrive here in the near future.

She said they've gotten more from the Phillippeans and can fulfill the rest of

their backorders now. I too am waiting for mine. I tried out a little bit when I

got the very first shipment (I did not know that there would be the ever long

delay - they had a run on VCO which co-incided with our orders and have not been

fully in stock till now). I haven't kept any for myself since that initial

trial. I figure if everyone else has to wait, so do I. But the moment it gets

here I will get it out to the rest of you patiently waiting folks. Heard of the

Never Ending Story .. this feels like the never ending co-op to me *Sigh* (I

hear Jeopardy music playing as the background theme to my life at the moment

I just have to thank you again for this co-op, and add a bit about what I

have experienced with stuff being shipped from the Phillipines. A friend in

Hawaii, who is of Filipino descent, sent me some skincare stuff from the

Phillipines. I loved it, and when I checked the webstie, the prices were so

great, I started to order a lot of stuff. Well, the shipping for my $34 of

stuff was $26!!

 

They only shipped by DHL express. I wrote them, and it seems that the

postal service in that country is so bad, lots of stuff 'disappeared'. They

would not guarantee stuff via regular post, and they claimed the deal they

had with DHL was at a good discount. I wound up double-backing on my

friends order, and splitting the shipping, and having her resend my stuff

from Hawaii, and it still worked out good (vs. both of us going via DHL.)

 

So you have all my sympathies in trying to get the shipping out in a timely

manner. Didn't Butch write something recently that was rather pithy about

I am not in any hurry. Just curious of how this

from TT will compare to Snowdrift's. That

comment was not meant as a complaint in any

manner, shape or form. Take care of everyone

else's order before you do mine, please.

 

I really appreciated these buys that you do. You

put yourself out big time for all of us.

 

But, But, But, I really would like to know how

the people who have received theirs have used it?

(begging on bended knee with hands held in a

prayerful way) ;-)
