Guest guest
Here's how I got the bot fly larvae out of my cats neck: made a thick clay paste to draw it overnight. Soak the clay paste off with hot salt water. Use the Sawyer Snake bite kit and use the suction cup that best fits the bite and suction it out slowly. The larvae came out whole and alive. I use the kit to suction out my bites that get infected. Usually have not had to use anything but the smaller suction cup. Works great! Diana of Dewberry Hill SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month! Guest guest
Hi y'all, I didn't see any replies to this one .. and it didn't disappoint me that there were no recommendations. > Help! I told her I would ask my > friends on the oil list. Tea tree was all I could think of. I would not recommend Tea Tree or any other oil on an open sore. This is not an emergency situation where first aid is required. Only then would I personally consider maybe using an EO on an open wound. Being bitten by insect critters is nothing new .. and rarely dangerous to Americans or westerners. Troops in Iraq are being bitten. I was bitten in Somalia .. I had problems for almost 6 months of BP dropping immediately and passing out .. my office at the time was next door to the Central Command Surgeon and they often rushed over to do what they could .. which was little to nothing. The Army assigned an African insect critter specialist doctor to treat me and the feller took what seemed like forty-eleven gallons of blood for his testing. Bottom line on this story was that the medics finally concluded that my body kicked it on its own after so long a period. America has specialists on such things .. lucky we are. Hope the young feller bounces back quickly. :-) > WizeMentor > www.yourfreedom.cyberwize.com Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
