sherri, for the pms I'd look at some rose geranium, as well as the clary.

and we have NEVER found a teenager who didn't fall in love with linden

absolute.

you also might think about some of the citrus oils... bergamot, pink

grapefruit....

Thanks Marge :) Those are the kinds of suggestions I was looking

for. If anyone has others, please feel free to email me directly at

In addition to the other great suggestions. It's not a EO, but how abour Red

Rasbury Seed?

It really does smell like Rasburies! (And cost about as much as an EO too!)

Sounds interesting, but if it's not an EO, what is it and where would I

look for something like it? You've got me curious.

Another question, while I'm at it - does anyone have suggestions for a

really basic, simple book on aromatherapy I could include along with the

aroma lamp and oils? Something appropriate for a soon to be 17 yr old,

that might spark her interest, or at least not bore her to tears with

really in depth information or excessive chemistry, etc. (I happen to

find chemistry fascinating, but I know she doesn't!)

A simple beginner's book would be The Essential Oil Book by Colleen Dolt.

It's simple, easy to read, and contains recipes. Of course, it's not a

super research book with up-to-date information, but it may get her on the

way...

Sherri,

Red Rasbury Seed is a carrier oil. Try finding it where someone sells carrier

oils.
