(this is my choice for ambience, or for emotional use.) The drawback is the use of a candle. 2. a glass nebulizing diffuser... an air pump powers it, the blown glass nebulizer breaks up the drops of eo into a microscopic fine spray that can stay suspended in the air for up to two hours. the drawback is that the pump is not silent... 3. the quiet fan type... a silent fan blows air thru a fabric that is saturated with the oil... an example of this is the Spa Scenter.. you can see and read about all of these at www.naturesgift.com/aromatherapyaccessories.htm OH... I really don't recommend the little 'plug into the wall' ones... they are useful if you are traveling, but not something I'd use at home. Guest guest
Hi Marge, I was wondering if the drawback to this was using a paraffin candle that perhaps emits toxins? Would it be completely beneficial if using a soywax (unscented) tea lite? Thanks, Margaret <snipped>there's basically three different types that seem effective to me... the >choice is yours... > >1. an aromalamp... a bowl of warm water sitting on top of a tea candle... >the water vapour carries the volatile molecules of the eo thru the >room.
