Here's some info on Bunnies and Rats and Tea Tree ingestion.

" The acute toxcicity (rabbit dermal LD 50 and rat oral LC 50) for the major

terpenic compounds (linalool, ocimene, alpha-terpinene, 1,8-cineole,

terpinolene, camphene) ranges between 2 and 5 g/kg body weight, which is

considered a moderately toxic range. From a toxicologic standpoint melaleuca

oil can be compared to oil of turpentine, which is readily absorbed from the

gastrointestinal tract and skin. "

for more info see:

Also, in case you forget, Rabbit are NOT Rodents! Totally different Order.

Rabbits are Lagomorpha, while rats and mice are Rodentia Something of a

different Order is pretty high up.

Sandra,

I am collecting info on AT and rabbits. I would very much appricate if you

would write me, off-line if you want, and tell me how you used EO's on rabbits.

Oh, I have a Jersey Wolly, (sort of a mini angora) how cool that you spin! Do

you raise English, French, or Giant (german).

Thanks,

I just put a few drops in there ears straight please don`t tickle me{:> they

hate the smell but it never seemed to bother them, It really is a shame we can`t

use it on our dogs I bet it would be a great flea replellant. I love my bunnies

they are beautiful animals I have English right now but have had them all the

Giants are the best for there wool, but english are the prettiest.
