Guest guest
Hiya Woobey Woman, YL BS put aside - I think a lot of folks get confused. The fact that aromatic plant materials have been used for thousands of years gets confused with the idea of " aromatherapy " having been used for thousands of years ... Also, I think some folks really promote the evidence that some ancient primative stills in the middle/near east region of the world existed as an implication that EO's were widespread and the norm rather than a rarity if they existed (in the form that we know them today) at all. I wrote a paper some time ago about the use of aromatic plants and oils throughout history - particularly focusing on their use for spiritual purposes. Well, after much research I made it clear in my paper that the aromatic substances used back then were most likely not the same things we know today as EO's, they were more akin to infused oils and other such preparations. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com >> Information provided by: the American Council on Science and Health, the >> National Associatin for Holistic Aromatherapy, and the Pacific Institute of >> Aromatherapy. > And these BOTH say that the " positive effects of aromatherapy > have been known > for thousands of years. " ??? Where does it say anywhere other > than Young living Garbage that Aromatherapy has been around > for Thousands of Years? Cheers!
