It's the most vile smelling substance on the face of the earth, IMO! LOL! I was recently asked what my least favorite smell was and there was absolutely no question in my mind . . . neem oil. I use it in soaps and salves for its wonderful healing properties, but I add both tea tree and lavender EOs both to augment its healing properties and to help w/ the smell . . . I still can't stand it, though some people think it smells OK, even good. I also use it in dog soap, both for its skin healing and insecticidal properties . . . different blend of EOs in that one, but the predominant smell to me is still the neem . . . rox
