I will speak for the Damask Rose (Rosa damascena) and I think Chris will

back me up on this one. If you go into the Rose Fields (where I will be

come Friday) and pull off a Rose Blossom .. crush it in your hands and

rub your hands over your face .. hours later you will smell EXACTLY like

the Rose Otto that is pouring into the Florentine Flasks during the

distillation.
