Some ephemereal volatile oils just whoosh off in the distillation. http://member.newsguy.com/~herblady ©
Guest guest
Jody, I live in zone 5 also. I raise roses and love them. The easiest roses with the most fragrance for me are the Jackson and Perkins Old English roses. They have a little black spot from time to time. We area high on a river bank not far from The Mississippi Rive. It is very humid here. Most have survived all the winters here with out additional protection ion the winter.
