Guest guest
Thought I would let you all know that I gave birth (well cesarean..Is that really giving birth?) to a baby boy on June 4th. He was 8 lbs 14 3/4 oz, and 21 inches. We have named him Liam Calen. We are both doing fairly well, Im still recovering abit. As any of you who have had a cesarean know the pain can be quite bothersome. I'd like to ask a question. My son seems to have baby acne, and also some milia on his nose. So far I am only using water on it, as I know most anything else would not be recommended. But has anyone used anything such as calendula in distilled water, or lavender? To help clear it up? Or is it better left alone? Thanks for any replies! Love you all, Jennifer Flanagan
Guest guest
Congratulations! And the acne and milia should be left alone, as they clear up in a few weeks. I would just use one of those really soft baby wash cloths and water, which is probably wht you are already doing. Guest guest
Jennifer! How absolutely wonderful! CONGRATS on the nice size baby boy and another GEMINI!! (my b'day was 6/11) And what lovely names you selected! Please take care & do as the doctors - AND your body tell you to do while recovering rom the C-section. As for the baby - that is quite common and will go away in it own time. It is just the 'mothers hormones' leaving his body Abundant blessings to your new family! Guest guest
Congratulations, Jennifer, on your new arrival. To me a cesarean is worse than going the natural way. Longer recovery and yes, I would say you gave birth. Like the name. Blessings to your little one, you, and your family. I just left my babies alone and didn't use anything particular on their face except a wet wash cloth (but this was many, many years ago!!!!). Blessings and love, Effie >Thought I would let you all know that I gave birth (well cesarean..Is that >really giving birth?) to a baby boy on June 4th. He was 8 lbs 14 3/4 oz, and >21 inches.
