My daughter arrived this am full of high spirits and 10 gallons of pomace oil

she found on sale! It would not be my oil of choice but since I have it, I'm

thinking the best use of it would be to blend it with my regular olive oil

which is usually extra virgin. Anything I need to know about sap values or

tracing?

TIA

I have read all over the place, and heard from many people that pomace olive

oil is the best olive oil to make soap out of.

Jody,

I use Pomace oil.

It can trace--fast--so keep moving ( lol )

The oil is more green in color. It does make a nice hard bar over time. It's

the oil I started with and I still use it once in awhile,

You should have no trouble--except (don't you just love the

except--however--but--etc)---getting a true color. I just don't color when I use

Pomace {oh--I don't change the SAP}

Happy Soaping,--HTH
