Hi Lisa,

 

Great to have you here! I hope you enjoy the list .. both the on topic and off

topic conversations And always feel free to jump in or start your own!

 

And as far as Bush goes ... like any politician (or anyone for that matter) he

has his good points and he has his bad points and he has lots of points in

between. I learned a long time ago to not play partison politics because its,

well, just a lame way to view politics in general (tunnel vision leaves much to

be desired IMHO).

 

Now, I'm off to enjoy a wonderfully hot day in Colorado - but at least I'm

hiding in an air conditioned office in downtown Denver doing document control

I hope everyone else has a wonderfully great day wherever they are and whatever

they are doing!

Sorry if you took it that way, Lisa. I don't believe anybody made a 'bash'

statement, we just posted information from other sources that try to

explain his actions. Butch is a staunch patriotic kinda guy, who would

serve the US President no matter who he/she is (had to sneak that in :-)

and I'm an independent who believes in keeping eyes and ears open to all

sources, and judging on an individual basis. You can feel free to post

something about Bush, for instance.

 

I, for one, find the 'dry drunk' analysis very pertinent, and more than a

bit right-on. The religious aspect of born-again I won't comment on,

because that is a very personal matter for Bush, and I have no way of

knowing his degree of commitment. We are getting to know more and more

about alcoholics, and recovered alcoholics, and I, for one, want to know if

that is coloring his actions as President. That's all.
