Guest guest
Hey y'all, One more thing .. just got a reminder of it from a service I to. Its reported that approximately 50% of GI Bill benefits go wasted. The DoD continues to encourage military personnel to use their GI Bill and Top-Up benefits while on active duty, and after separation through a number of initiatives like eArmyu and an expansion of online courses available to servicemembers. Servicemembers and veterans who are interested in earning bachelors or masters degrees can also find many schools that accept their military benefits and give credit for military experience through Military.com's School Finder. The finder lists military-friendly schools and helps military personnel receive free information on various programs easily. Also .. there used to be a publication called " Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services. " That pub gave recommended credit of X number of hours for this and that duty performance ... many of the military training schools exceed civilian academic requirements so the troops get civilian credit for those experiences. A lot of you are relatives or friends of young folks who are now serving in the Armed Forces. Do them a favor .. kick'em in the ass and keep on kicking till they get their heads on straight and take advantage of the benefits they have earned. :-) Y'all keep smiling, Butch
