That it is .. especially in Appalachia. But in some respects, that's a

move forward because was a time when the entire chain was in despair ..

now those who own land are slowly becoming wealth(ier) than generations

before them. Also .. Appalachia is like Turkey .. a second/third home.

My heart still lies in Suthern Kentucky .. and always will methinks.

Those who are ashamed we are ashamed of. Salt of the earth is to be

found in Appalachia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Ohio, Texas and such ..

the history of America was written there. It began in Boston and such

but even during the Revolution the NE USA was relatively commercialized

and cosmopolitan .. the real pioneers were those who fought elements,

American Indians, critters and diseases without doctors. And if we look

at the looooooooong line of Badmen throughout history, Billy the Kid,

Jesse & Frank James, the Youngers, Coles and John Wesley Hardin (the

baddest of the bad but a perfect gentleman even when he blew your brains

out) .. plus dozens and dozens of others, we find that they were spawned

out of a period of injustice .. of lawless laws and lawless lawmen and

lawless courts and judges .. and mistreatment of a group who were forced

into a war by extremists on both sides in the first place.

> I am sure you have much more to tell and share.

Yea .. I reckon .. but I might get carried away. ;-p
