Hello everyone,

Does anyone have a good suggestion (if you don't have an autoclave) for the best

method to use to clean out and sterilize bottles for reuse that previously

contained eo's or blends?

Thanks in advance,

Dorothy

I first rinse them out with Everclear or 90% rubbing alcohol, then wash in hot,

soapy water. Next, I run them through the dishwasher, then if they still

contain some aroma, I boil them and let air dry. One that had Vetiver, I

could NOT get the aroma out of...

Removing Scents from Amber Glass Bottles

Submitted by RJ

1.. Rinse the bottles out with hot water.

2.. Run a sink of soapy dishwater.

3.. Dump a pot of brewed coffee, including the grounds, in the dishwater.

4.. Submerge your bottles in it & let soak overnight.

5.. In the morning, rinse them out and the odor is gone!
