I was born in Nashville, spent a few years of my life in Greenbrier (near Springfield) then moved up to the TN-KY line to a little town called Guthrie. Great places all and great places for raising younguns methinks. Its GREEN, GREEN in most of TN and KY. One can wash their car once a month and not tell its been washed .. leastways where I grew up it was like that. We used the hills, ponds, creeks, woods and caves for our playground and our play toys were usually wild grape vines over gullies, crawdads, tobacco sticks which were outstanding spears, possums on the side of the road .. which we used as frisbees (most Yankees think baby possums are born daid on the side of the road) .. and old bird dawgs. Its hard to find a youngun whut likes the outdoors .. fishing and hunting and such .. that has time to get into real trouble.
