Guest guest
Good Morning Everyone, hope you all had a good weekend. my neighbor is pregnant with her 2nd baby and would like a blend for her scar after she delivers. She has a horrible one from her previous C-Section. Is their anything she can use now. What do you recomend for after she has her section and her incision heals. I have some recipes that call for heli & Rosehip Oil, but I would like your input as well, what experience have any of you had with post surgical scars. THANKS Marlen Rodriguez

Guest guest
Hi Marlen, For scarring helichrysum and rose hip seed have to be two of the best EO's to help fade scars and help prevent abnormal scar tissue growth in the first place. Lavender (lavandula angustifolia) can be another good one to add to a scar blend too Dunno about pre-emptive measures for a c-section though .... and even without a c-section the whole cocoa butter thing didn't help me at all from getting LOTS of stretch mark scars from my babies ... Now I'm rooting for the heli/rose hip seed blend to work miracles on m'belly *LOL* Best of luck to your neighbor for a quick and easy delivery as well as a healthy recovery! *Smile* Chris (list mom) <http://www.alittleolfactory.com> http://www.alittleolfactory.com aromatherapyoutlet [marlen] Monday, May 05, 2003 7:14 AM Blend for Scars Good Morning Everyone, hope you all had a good weekend. my neighbor is pregnant with her 2nd baby and would like a blend for her scar after she delivers.
