Guest guest
Hi all, Jody here, I want to have -- and maintain -- a basic set of infused oils for use in my soaps and lotions with the idea of by so doing I will be adding something extra and beneficial to them. I make a several varities of lavender soaps and lotions with mint coming in second. The infused oil I see mentioned most often here seems to be heli, comfrey and St. John's Wort. What others would you reccomend? And what base oil is your favorite? I realize this is a horribly open-ended question but I need to start somewhere... so any direction will be most appreciated. TIA Jody
Guest guest
Hi Jody, I like to have infused calendula and arnica oils on hand at all times. Vanilla can be nicely infused also. I really like to use olive oil as a base oil - jojoba can be a good one too - especially for that vanilla Sorry that was a little short, but I've just done a whole buncha computer maintenance tonight and I'm hitting the hay now! *Smile* Chris (list mom) <http://www.alittleolfactory.com> http://www.alittleolfactory.com trendsjody [trendsjody] Saturday, May 03, 2003 3:53 PM INFUSED OILS LIBRARY Hi all, Jody here, I want to have -- and maintain -- a basic set of infused oils for use in my soaps and lotions with the idea of by so doing I will be adding something extra and beneficial to them.
