Guest guest
Sindy, what I would do for achy muscles is really different from what i " d do for achy joints... for the latter, (and for carpal tunnel, btw) I would use a massage oil (I'd hope for St. John's Wort infused oil for the base oil, or carrier, btw)...and in it I'd put a blend of helichrysum italicuum (for it's powerful anti-inflammatory effect), black pepper, for warming, and lavandin for pain relief. (the helichrysum, all by itself in whatever carrier you choose is the best thing I know of for bruising, as well. for sore muscles you might or might not want to use the helichrysum.. I'd reach for ginger, rather than black pepper eo, and maybe add a wee bit of eucalyptus ... it's good for tired muscles. OH...and keep the lavandin... and I agree with Butch...they'll get better results from a lotion or massage oil that can stay on the skin than a wash off product like soap.
