I actually would recommend *not* drinking ice water- it injures the spleen,

which has a vital piece in breast milk production...Nettle tea with milk and

honey(or cream), other warm beverages- never ice cold...sweet potatoes,

squash, " mildly sweet " foods- I know you eat well anyway, Chris!

 

5 days also is not a long time for your body to adjust and " up " production

to have a back up supply...

can you take him with you? He seems little enough for a couple more months,

while you pump and nurse and increase your production...

EAT like a horse!
