Guest guest
G'day all. As a recently retired grower and producer (i.e. distiller) of certified organic essential oils, but still involved with essential oils, I, like Butch, would be interested in hearing more from Bob or Jackie with respect to : 1. Why have 12 international organic certifications ? One for each of the 12 countries from which you source your oils ? Is one of the certifications applied to your bottling plant (presumably in the USA), so that the organic claim can be audited ? 2. I'd be interested in discussing `full spectrum' distillation. I may be wrong, but it sounds like BS to me. 3. 3 quality control agencies ? Three different labs for oil analysis ? or are you slotting your organic certifiers in there too ? 4. In my book, there is no such thing as therapeutic grade EO - that's a marketing tool. Then again, I don't believe in a lot of marketing names, and that includes some of the `fancy' common names. Good way to confuse people. Butch has made most of the running on this, Bob or Jackie, but believe me, there are a lot of other similarly knowledgeable people `listening' out. Guest guest
The sad fact here is that a once reputable source for retail oils- Primavera Life- a company out of Germany- has gone MLM. I guess they think they can attract all the YLers to their new scene. Its too bad, really, because they have done some great work with Demeter biodynamic certification in Europe( biodynamic agriculture is more than " organic " - its cosmic!- good stuff- really!) They have some lovely oils.... BUT MLMs dont appeal to me- michelle
