Guest guest
Hi everyone - Just back on list. Was no-mail for a while - long story. Anyway, I recently started some acupuncture treatments to restore my chi. I had both my gall bladder and my spleen taken out about five years back - for ITP. I've never been treated with acupuncture before. My question is this: I am currently on a three-week appointment schedule. I have experienced sensations acutely that I have not felt in years. Among them a lot of tears shed and a lot of walking away from arguments (makes my hubby happy). Not my usual first reactions to situations. Also, when those needles are manipulated by my calves and between my first and second toes I feel 'electricity' or something around near the top of my head. I find myself really having to 'try' to be feisty!! Should I just go with the energy flow here - it's kind of nice to feel the negative saying good-bye. It's just different for me to feel this way. I'm not a negative person myself but I do absorb a lot of what goes on around me. Has anyone else experienced acupuncture for chi restoration? Did you feel any of what I have described? I hope no one thinks this is a weird question. I mean if I were to describe labor medications other women would speak up and compare what their reactions were to the meds so I'm just applying the same type of response request to acupuncture here.
