Guest guest
Kathleen, > Candles lit and prayers sent for a safe return for your family members. Thanks. These are some of Southern Utah and Southern Nevada's best (in my opinion) law enforcement and Fire Fighters. They are all truly honored to be serving our country. > For everyone's family members. You said it all right here. May they all have the powers of whom ever or what ever they believe in to watch, and protect them. Sandi
Guest guest
Hi Butch and all Just a wee correction if I may! >UK .. Robin Cook resigned in protest of Tony Blair going to war without >the blessings of the UN. and without international agreement and without the agreement of the British people (the latter being the most important in a democracy IMO) Regards Ann
Guest guest
Yo Kathleen, > > Tonight the President of the United States will address the Nation > > and Saddam. Its said by CNN that he will probably give Saddam one > > option to avoid war. Leave the country .. probably within 72 > > Yup, that's what I heard this morning. The one, only and won't be > accepted choice. I think I heard (I was 3/4 asleep) that it may only > be a day or two before Bush invades. Agree he won't accept .. but some of his generals might take action. And agree that the week will not pass without action. > I think most people, like the stockmarket, feel better for finally > KNOWLING, whether they disagree or not. Uncertainty sucks, especially > if one believes that there may be the hope that there will be no war. > It also sucks when you know there WILL be one, you just don't know when. Yep .. agree. That's especially true over here. The Gallop Polls on CNN a few minutes ago were very interesting. Seems American opinion has made a drastic change on the following events .. in but a short time. Bush's efforts to deal with other countries .. very high. Opinions on Germany, Russia, UN ...... very low. Opinions on France ................... EXTREMELY low. Bush took too much time to gain support ...... 67% Overall, over 2/3 of the Americans polled support Bush's actions. That is .. according to the Gallop Poll they presented. > And as that is his/their final descion, the feeling will be, " Well do > it already and get it over with! " . Yep .. agree. > AND, I like the quote " The unity of freedom has never relied on the > uniformity of opinion. " -- John F. Kennedy Yep .. me too. ;-p > Hope that is unemotional enough for ya Butch ;-) You done good Kathleen. ;-) > Cheers! > Kathleen Petrides > The Woobey Queen > http://www.woobeyworld.com Yep .. y'all keep smiling, Butch :-) http://www.AV-AT.com
