Guest guest
Hi all, I have a friend that is 19 weeks pregnant and has an inflamed gall bladder because of gall stones. She isn't opposed to surgery (too much) but would like to wait until after the baby is born. Does anyone know herbs that will help? Or is surgery the only way? TIA Karen J

Guest guest
Karen, Under normal circumstances, a gall bladder flush is very helpful and the sufferer can absolutely avoid surgery. But while pregnant, flushes may not be a good solution. Flushes are not an " herbal " solution, but have proved a very effective wholistic approach. Surgery is not the only way! Part of the flush includes warmed castor oils packs over the liver. Maybe that would help. Guest guest
A strong demulcent tea can be helpful- a cold infusion(steeped overnight) of marshmallow root comes to mind... michelle
