Guest guest
OK but I also drink nettle tea every day- yum! Sometimes I add red clover- sometimes elderberries, sometimes red raspberry. In the summer(ah!) I add fresh lemon balm... oatstraw is good, too... Tea is a way of life! I dont use tea balls, though- I put a handful of herbs in a quart mason jar , fill with boiling water, cover, and let it steep for 30 minutes to several hours- thats medicine! Yes I have tried " rooibos " (red bush) tea- delicious! And yes- I put milk in my earl grey... Guest guest
That's how I make mine. Even my kids like it with the tea floating in their cup, but my DH isn't too fond of it that way--he'll drink it but only because he has no choice, he prefers it strained. My favorite right now is my own mix of red raspberry, nettles, dandelion. Of course, I'm drinking it as my pregnancy tea but I'm kind of addicted to it by now (I guess if you drink anything for 8 months straight, you start to get addicted to it). I add lemon in the morning, milk at night. Guest guest
I do not mind tea in the cup as most of it settles to the bottom, i bought one of those cups that has the strainer right in the cup..it fits into the cup and then you pour the water over it and remove the strainer with the tea leaves, i like this. Guest guest
LOL Oh well, I thought I found another person that doesn't mind tea in their cup. It floats on the top but then settles on the bottom as you drink it so we don't actually end up drinking it, I just like to see it in there. Guest guest
Anybody grow their own plants and make teas out of them?? I was thinking mostly of elderberry, aronia, sea buckthorn, lavender. And are there any others that you recommend?? Karen J

My next door neighbor was one of their employees and they won't tell her either! Go figure. Deonia
