Guest guest
Hey Jackie, > Butch - While you are out there - much is being made of > " floral waxes " just now by soapmakers. Any comments on them? Yep .. comments I have but not much knowledge on them as I don't know doodly about soaping or cosmetics.. Until the past 6-7 months I had never been approached for Floral Wax .. now everybody wants it and I supposed it was from a book on soaping that the fax was kicked off. > I think I know the how, the where interests me and why aren't they > used more often - would think they would be plentiful? Jackie Why weren't they used at all prior to the past few months? Or at least not to the extent that I knew anyone who sold them. We through the Rose Wax away here in Turkey .. there was no market so it was useless. It won't be thrown away next summer but then maybe there will again be no market then. ;-p For them that might not know what it is .. when Concrete is produced and then the Absolute is extracted from the Concrete .. the remaining waxy substance is the Floral Wax. Best I can figger its a nice smelling filler for soaps and cremes. Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
