Does it have a tag that notes its variety?

My wonderful husband, out of the blue, bought me a eucalyptus tree. Does anyone

know how and when to harvest the leaves, distill the oil and/or anything else I

can do with it? The only thing I know about it is that it is VERY quick

growing. Any help would be appreciated!!

Hello Shimai, I have two eucalyptus trees, or saplings I should say, about 2

years old. Someone down the street from me has a TREE, must be about 30'

tall. I only have the one that is used in floral arrangments for just that

purpose, but I also have a lemon eucalyptus that I take a few leaves off of

now and then and crush them in a cheesecloth bag and hang on my shower nozzle

to open my sinus from time to time. I love the smell of it and sometimes want

to just glue a piece of it to my top lip so I could smell it constantly. LOL

Sorry I can't be of any help to you about what to use them for. Deonia
