A Blending Question

I'm rather blending challenged, and I'm always afraid I'm going to put oils

together and create a monster. So I'm thinking I'd better ask before I put

a blend in my soap that'll make everybody turn green. :-)

 

I want a spicy/woodsy scent, and I'm thinking of blending clove bud and

sandalwood... and maybe a little patchouli. I have no idea how much of

each, but I just want to know if this sounds like something that should be

blended together, or should I chuck this idea and move onto something else?
