IVAS and AAVA train vets in Vet Acupuncture in USA. See their list of certified members at: http://ivas.org/member_search.cfm and http://aava.org/pub/directory_links_public.html If one cannot locate a vet acupuncturist nearby, a well trained LAc, preferably with experience of treating animals of the species of interest, could try a few sessions if the local vet agrees to monitor the case before and after acupuncture.
