Guest guest
Par I treated a patient for a while with mycosis fungoides, unfortunately she would not take herbs, but with acupuncture alone I treated it from an emotional standpoint. She developed the lesions only on her breasts a year after her husband was killed in a car accident, where she was the driver. She told me that she often woke in a cold sweat, because she dreamt she felt him sitting on her chest. Her primary method of treatment was PUVA therapy. After a few sessions she ceased having the nightmares, but also stopped coming for treatment... I have some good reference texts for you to look at that might be helpful: S. Dharmananda, (article) " Oriental Perspectives on cancer and its treatment. " S. Becker, " A Handbook of Chinese Hematology. " M. Shima, " Supportive Care of Cancer Patients: complimentary integration of . " Please let me know what you discover in treatment. Guest guest
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has any experience treating (or supporting) mycosis fungoides. I haven't seen this patient yet so I can't give any information on TCM pattern discrimination and pulse/ tongue; but I just wanted to have some information before seeing him. I know he is 75 years old and has been having this condition for a few years. He has had radiotherapy for it a few years back. He just had a period of stress and it has gone worse. Any information or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks May
