By extension, I feel a strong affinity for the culture and the people from which our medicine springs. If you do, as well, and you can take a dose of uncomfortable reality, read on. I have read Li Hongzhi's book, there is nothing in there that threatens the Chinese Government. It is simply about a way of thinking and living that governments don't understand. Can you imagine if the U.S. Government started torturing people for practicing qigong or meditation? Prayer? At a minimum, please go to Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group website and sign their petition. There are currently not enough signatures there to make any impact, whatsoever. That is a problem, and a violation of human rights. To call it crap is a little harsh, I feel.
