My understanding of the use of AP in ascariasis (roundworm) is that the method does not affect the parasite directly, but can help obstructed bileducts to relax (allowing built-up bile pressure to " flush " the parasite out of the duct and into the duodenum. It can also (temporarily) alleviate colic or vomiting dt ascarids. Kathleen's notes on Goldenseal are interesting. Guest guest
Will try the cut and paste... kathleen HERBS THAT EXPEL PARASITES Conception: Herbs are used primarily for treating intestinal parasites such as roundworms, tapeworms, & hookworms. Actions: Expel or Kill Parasites Symptoms: Mostly happens to Children Para-umbilical pain, vomiting, change in appetite (increased as parasites are hungry) or deranged appetite (eating paper, unbrewed tea, leaves, dirt, pica, stone, rocks), itching in such places as rectum, nose, ears, eyes.
