Guest guest
I just purchased a small plastic package of placenta from Nam Bac in San Diego. I am excited to try it on myself and my patients, but have some concerns about safety. I used to use Kan's Replenish Essence, but it appears they have taken out the placenta. I felt good about using their product, as it had been both cooked and extracted with alcohol. My questions are: 1) Is this likely human or animal placenta? (it only cost $6), 2)What kind of standard processing is used with placenta?, 3) Why did Kan decide to remove placenta from their product?, 4) Is there any risk of contracting Hepatitis or other viruses from using this product?, 5)If I cook it will that make it safer and how does this affect the potency?, (How long should I cook it)6) Is soaking it in vodka or grain alcohol an adequate way to make it sterile?
