Guest guest
Question to the group. I am Confused about 5E: Shell I just gather signs and symptoms of a given patient and then match them by preponderance to 1. A particular Element(s) then to 2. A specific relationship elements: Sheng or Ko (acting and contracting)? Or are there more intricate relationships between Sheng, Ko; between acting and contracting, etc, which would allow me better predict possible or future dynamic of a particular problem with a given patient? Are these legitimate questions? If they are, I hope I expressed them with enough clarity to justify an answer. Thank you folks. Peter Pavolotsky Tel. Guest guest
Peter, Probably the most fundamental thing to any style any model is to identify patterns. Others have found these patterns before us, and they developed treatment strategies in response to those patterns. You can do your own observation of patterns and over time work out what are good treatment strategies. And or you can study different approaches to identifying these patterns, and learn to walk in the foot steps of others. Mathematically it can be akin to finding the pattern in a string of numbers, there may be a number of patterns present and finding just one pattern doesn't discount another.
