Just a quick note, the formation of our Lynx was derailed by my being out of the

U.S.- first doing seminars and then close to 2 months of pro bono work. We are

now ready to roll with this and anyone interested should read the following

letter.

Doc Rosen OMD, DAc, LAc, FNAAOM,

May 29, 2005

Dear Practitioners of ,

I am writing to introduce you to Lynx Collaborative Care Network. Lynx was

created to improve the quality of life for individuals with complex,

debilitating and life-altering conditions.

Currently, I’m working with Doc Rosen to establish a list of pre-screened

practitioners, world-wide, to whom Lynx may refer appropriate clients for

treatment. The following information gives a brief overview of Lynx

Collaborative. The website, www.lynxcare.net, offers more detailed descriptions

and documents regarding the unique approach of Lynx Collaborative toward helping

individuals with complex conditions and their families.

Following this section, I have outlined the structure for how Lynx proposes to

work with an open network of Practitioners.

Unlike disease-specific support groups, Lynx can take advocacy and support to an

infinite level of personalized services, offering professional expertise by our

network of Physician Consultants, Nurse Advocates and Medical Researchers. Our

research, advocacy and support is highly individualized so that we are

completely honoring the person where they are, working within their belief

system, and offering them highly skilled medical professionals who can present

them with information and evidence-based options within the medical and

complementary/alternative realms.

Lynx is a collaborative of contracted health professionals whose work it is to

share our expertise and our humanity.

• Empower people facing medical complexities to be able to receive the

highest

benefit and outcome from their experiences

• Give informative, supportive attention to our clients through individualized,

evidence-based research and advocacy, provided by Lynx Physician Consultants,

Nurse Advocates and Medical Researchers

• Advise clients regarding specialists, facilities, services and complementary

options

• Create a supportive bridge between conventional and what is termed

‘alternative and complementary’ healing

• Develop and maintain a current Health Summary for each client thereby

facilitating their practitioner interactions, allowing attention to be focused

on current and comprehensive issues and minimizing errors and inefficiencies

• Determine relevant questions to guide clients through procedures and office

visits as well as being available to accompany them on appointments

• Offer objective, personalized research to physicians and medical specialists,

and

to our clients

• Support individuals and families by being the collaborative link between all

entities Involved, leading to greater empowerment in their lives

Doc Rosen, who works with Lynx as a Physician Consultant (among his many

vocations), will be responsible for screening individuals who may wish to be

included in an open network of practitioners to whom Lynx Professionals may

refer clients.

Our objective is to have a reliable list of pre-screened Practitioners of

(and other Alternative and Complementary Practices) established

for the use of Lynx Professionals when they are advocating and consulting on

behalf of our clients.

Lynx will neither charge nor accept any referral fee from practitioners included

in this open network. Your relationship with Lynx clients will be the same

professional relationship you share with any patient. There may be some exchange

of information between Lynx and yourselves on the client’s behalf, and at their

request, in order to facilitate their healing process.

The purpose of pre-screening is to establish reliable, highly skilled resources

around the globe for our clients to access. We hope to build a ‘history’ with

many of you, which will be reflected in what will eventually become a searchable

database of Case History Accounts. The objective of this database will be to

track conditions, interventions and outcomes in a way which provides some degree

of credibility, as the information is documented and maintained by medical

professionals.

If, after reviewing this letter and the Lynx website, you are interested in

being considered for inclusion in an open network of Chinese Medical and

Complementary/Alternative Practitioners, please do the following:

1) Submit your resume by email to the Lynx office, info

2) Copy the email to Doc Rosen at acupuncture_on_york

3) Contact Sharon Feder at the Lynx office with any questions, either by phone

at: 303-670-LYNX (5969) or by email

Resumes will be reviewed and select individuals will be emailed to arrange for

further communication.

I greatly appreciate any interest you may have in being involved in the

evolution of Lynx Collaborative.

Sincerely,

Sharon Feder,

Lynx Collaborative

Care Network

I am only one; but still I am one.

I cannot do everything, but still I can do something;

I will not refuse to do the something I can do.
