Herbs which inhibit Aspergillus Fumigatus

I'm looking for more information on using herbs which inhibit aspergillus

fumigatus (for treating allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (APBA)).

 

The Will MacLean, Jane Lyttelton, Clinical Book of Internal Medicine specifies

herbs that inhibit tuberculosis and suggests that these be added to the primary

constitutional formula or as a first line treatment in cases of drug resistant

tuberculosis. I am thinking that it may make sense to add some of the antifungal

herbs to the primary constitutional formula as well.

 

My questions are:

 

1) Does it make sense to add antifungal herbs to the primary constitutional

formula and also use them as a nasal wash?

 

2) Are there any herbs that are more effective an inhibiting aspergillus

fumigatus than the ones I have come across?

 

So far the herbs I've found (through Google Scholar) that inhibit aspergillus

fumigatus include:

 

- da huang

- hong hua

- ji xing zi

 

3) Has anyone had any experiences with eliminating aspergillus/ improving

hypersensitivity reactions? Any suggestions?
