Guest guest
I never do insurance, have a case where I must submit a bill to a family to submit to their family member's insurance. How could I bill an outcall to a nursing home with one hour of treatment (scalp acupuncture, retention of needles, ROM and tuina)? How do I code an out-call???? How much ($$$) can I allot to needle insertion? To needle re-insertion? To ROM & Tuina????? Do I divide my total fee between these? Can I give a diagnostic code if an MD has already diagnosed?? Do I then need to use same code as he has used???? Though I will be paid directly I would like for my bill to be useable for the family. Thanks to any of you experienced billers for any help you can me. Dianne Darcy, ABT, LAc, MAc.
