Hello group,

I am interested in getting to know about Sa Ahm acupuncture/4 needle

technique, but there is - to the best of my knowledge - noone here in

Denmark teaching or even practicing it.

It's seems a little difficult to get some good quality

information/litterature on Sa Ahm so I was hoping that someone could

help me out with some book titles or good online information

(English/German/Korean OK) to learn (detailed) theory/practice from.

Also I am a bit confused as to how Korean Constitutional Medicine

(SaSang) and Korean Constitutional Acupuncture (Sa Ahm?!) work in

conjunction. Also I would be interested in any input on Korean

Constitutional Pulse Diagnosis.

Lastly I would like to know - since Sa Ahm is also referred to as the 4

needle technique - if you really only use four needles and if you do

then how do you determine where to needle? On the deseased side or

opposite side?

Thanks in advance

There was seminar that just passed which may offer some help to

you... Joseph Kim was presenting

http://www.acufinder.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=56 & PN=1

Also, there's one book on korean constitution at redwing....

http://www.redwingbooks.com/products/books/KorAcu.cfm

Have a couple of notes on these references but have never pursued

it...

Korean acupuncture first appeared in 1894 From a Dr. Yi. who

presented " constitutional theory in the meridian. "

Also in 1965 in the journal of int'l congress of acupuncture in tokyo

written by dr. kuan. This is mostly translated now.
