Here is a story of integrating a hospital and a acupuncture college in

Singapore. I thought this might be of interest to those discussing hospital

privileges. It certainly might be a model for making the connection, as well

as, providing more patients for college clinics.

Good news. Not so long ago Hong Kong also decided to allow Chinese

Medicine in three hospitals. Hopefully this will indeed increase

interest and attract more researchers.

Thanks for fixing that url Tom!

 

It could make quite a bit of sense for a OM college to connect itself to a

WM hospital. It would also make for larger connections than all the good

work of those that have individually made the connections.

I have noticed that in CA there is now a acu program that is connected with

a hospital and outpatient clinic, Alhambra Medical University. There are

other programs in CA that have been working with medical schools and

hospitals as well (Emperor's and PCOM come to mind). I think this is a good

sign.
