Guest guest
The bones of these chickens are black and thus they are thought to be extra rich in blood-building marrow. I know many who think highly of this bird's blood-building capacity. A popular black chicken product comes from a Chinese family run company in England. It is pricey but people pay the price. It is used especially for recovery from illness with blood weakness.Sorry I forget the brand name. - Matt Bauer - skip8080 Chinese Medicine Wednesday, February 09, 2005 7:38 PM black chicken- cooking with herbs Yes the skin of the chicken is black , and the bones too. Guest guest
Black chicken is not a chicken it is a game bird; It can be obtained in a good chinese supermarket or chinatown- cook it in a clay pot as a soup with herbs- it is not to be roasted or kentucky fried!
