Comments on Nomenclature in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Interesting but adds more confusion to the mix. TCM did not exist before

being named circa 1949, thanks in large part to the PRC communist party. As

for OM, it has evolved as a term that I have heard to refer to any and all

systems of medicine coming from SE Asia. I would also include Ayurveda here

as well. The term Classical is now making more of an entry

as more practitioners and schools want to differentiate this from TCM's

modern approach. Why are we so afraid to be honest about this?
