Guest guest
Hi All I have a couple of patients who experience " visual migraines " , though not as their main complaint. One has adult onset asthma with Lv qi stagnation and phlegm, the other depression with Qi stagnation, blood stasis and perhaps some phlegm. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience differentiating this particular symptom and how it might fit into the above pictures. The depression patient has also had a spontaneous episode of collapsed lung after a particularly stressful period in life. His voice is gruff and he spent several years in the printing business in the '80s handling lots of toxic chems and heavy metals. They both have borderline untreated hypertention. Please feel free to contact me off list if more detail is needed. thanks. Shanna
Guest guest
I assume you mean ocular migraines, where there is visual disturbance but no headache pain. I have seen it with the patterns you describe below, but also with mild blood deficiency underlying the stagnation. I think this is important to consider, especially in women.
