Guest guest
These are a few herbs I would use to TX sciatica, mo gu xiao, du zhong, huang jin gui, tian ma, liu zhi huang. I would also TX the patient lying on side and needling deep to GB30 and following down channel every where it is tender. This works for me everytime. Guest guest
I have a patient with low back (right) pain leading to sciatica down quad to middle of leg, now feels some pain inner leg 3-4 cum proximal to ankle. He picked up a crab pot and strained his back a few months ago. He has been going to a chiro pretty regularly, comes to see me - I wish more often,(in between a stay at the hospital due to extreme pain) now an ortho is recommending a nerve test ugh. Even the chiro says if he knows which nerve is pinched can focus tx. I would like to know if there are any herbs anyone can recommend. His water pulses are low (which I would have expected),his tongue is red, crack down middle up to lung area, white patches on side, red on underside. P.S. I just did a Dr. Tan tx on him for back pain and his water pulses came up - the points were on LI and TE channel on hand. He doesn't want surgergy. He is a carpenter so this has taken him out of work - now is very conscious of his physical labor and does a lot of supervising. Again, are there any herbs people have had success with that might work for this patient. I'm also open to any acupuncture tx advice too. Thanks, Anne
