Guest guest
Hi, I was reading a string of posts that did not have a subject line, so I thought I'd put a heading on it. Anne, you said: Anne: This is true in general. Some people don't refer because they want it to be " their " escape and secret or " their " practitioner. I find this to be especially true for the patients who get a little counseling from me when they come in (I used to be a counselor). Therefore not only do they take more time to treat, but they then feel less inclined to refer people to me. ARGH! These are often my most successfully treated clients though...I think getting to know them on this level makes the treatments all the more effective for many reasons. I probably need to start reducing the amount of people I give this much to though, or I'll never make a decent living. Too bad, though--the combination of TCM with a little counseling is really very powerful. Laura
