The difference remains that we will work with everyone and you will not work

with those who you consider to be your enemy.

In this case, everyone includes those that provide the codes for 99% of the

insurance business out there today. It HAS happened and we now need to figure

out the best way to train our people to work with the codes in a way that is in

their best interest. I don't think we are merely relegated to using a single

code a single time for each OM visit, so there is no need to frame the

discussion around that issue. All professional organizations are working with

TOP

insurers and with congresspeople and such to advance the profession. It is true,

however, that you may be the only one suing them under RICO, and if that turns

out useful, I will be among the first to congratulate you and your attorneys.

FYI for those practitioners in CA. There is a great new(to me) group called

AIMS. The website for the group is www.aimsaction.org. The group has been

lobbying heavily against the new LHC report that came out in Sept. I don't know

if the group is working nation-wide but it might be a good start. I happened to

talk to one of the directors looking for other information.
