Thank you for interested in Zhejiang International Exchange Center of Clinical

TCM (IEC-TCM).

It would be our great pleasure to invite you to join our staff in Zhejiang

Provincial Hospital of TCM for the clinical internship.I would like to provide

more information of our hospital and the trainging program.

1.LOCATION:

Hangzhou is in southern China, 180km south of Shanghai, is the capital city of

Zhejiang Province, and a beautiful city imbued with vital force and vigors, is

one of the political, economical and culture exchange centers in China, which is

one of the top 10 scenic spots in China.

Hangzhou has been known as the " Paradise on Earth " and has long been famous for

its breaktaking scenic beauty and abundant natural resources.

It takes 90 minutes flight from Beijing or Hongkong to Hangzhou, and 150 minutes

train from Shanghai.

The hospital is located in the center of the city;5 minutes walk distance to the

West lake. It is and old hospital, has 50 years history, but has very modern

facilities and new building with 800 impatient beds.

 

2.TRAINING PROGRAM:

The hospital has been training foreign students since 1990, had trained 80-100

foreign students each year in the past 5 years. The satisfied rate is 98%.

Clinicians involved in providing the educational program are TCM consultants,

professors and experts, and each has 10-40 years of clinical experience.

Generally, one Acupuncturist and Massage doctor sees 30-40 patients every day,

while TCM clinicians have 50-60 patients per day.

IEC-TCM is offering over 15 different departments with 25 specialties to TCM

physicians, TCM postgraduates, and senior students for clinical experience

exchange and advanced TCM clinical internship.

In order to facilitate clear communication, we provide well-trained professional

English translators.

The training programs as offers are:

Acupuncture, Tuina (Massage), TCM-Internal Medicine, Bi Syndromes,

TCM-Gynaecology, TCM-Paediatrics, TCM-Neurology, TCM-Respiratory Disorder,

TCM-Alimentary Disorder, TCM-Facial Massage, Herbal Pharmacology, TCM-Oncology,

TCM-Dermatology, etc. Participants can choose the programs according to personal

need. Some Inpatient Departments can also be visited. It is possible to offer

specific topics according to participants' requirements. The contents of the

lecture combine TCM theory with rich clinical experience.

3.ACCOMMODATION:

IEC-TCM provides Hotel-like dormitory for foreign students, which are equipped

with private shower room, TV, air-conditioning, etc. Our office is at the same

floor with students' dorm. Whenever they have questions or need help, we are

always available. Foreign students will have convenient, relaxed and enjoyable

life in Hangzhou.

4.VISA:

You can come over to China on a tourist visa.

The tourist visa application does not need any documents from us. You just need

to present you passport and a written application letter to Chinese Embassy in

your home country for the tourist visa application. It is possible to extend the

visa in Hangzhou. Once you decide to come, please complete the attached

application form and send it to us at your earliest convenience for

registration.

5.COSTS:

The tuition fee: US$650.00 / per month / per person. With English teaching or

English translation.

Accommodations Fee:

Single room: US$460 / per month / per person.

Three meals a day are served in staff dining room, it costs only US$2-3 a day,

and food quality is quite good.

Double room is available only when you come with another person and both agree

to share same room, which is $310/ per month/ per person.
