The pains is enhanced when she feels the need to go to the bathroom, she has excretions that are transparent and thick in the time of the menstruation. The pain reminds her of the feeling of hemorrhoids. In the past half year the pain in the first day of her period had become so insufferable that she can not go to work. It would disappear for several months and when she would suddenly get it, it lasted for a long while. For this reason she began to take the} pill at the age of 15 continuously until she was 28. When she has her period she feels as if she has little stone in the stomach. She feels the pain and every so often " flickers " of worse pain. Half day before the menstruation begins she gets a migraine and then there is a day in which she gets one stain and then a day without anything and then it begins the flow When the flow is constant there are small lumps in the blood. The blood is red and somewhat dark. The menstruation goes on for approximately three days the first day hurts most. The bleeding is medium is not too much but is not scant. Feelings: Feels stuck. Sometimes feels as if the land is shacking. She is afraid of being pregnant. Feels lost and feels that her husband stands in her way of development. Uncertain if wants to get the pregnancy (but came to me in order that to be able to). Feels aggressive. Her relationship with her mother is not very great. Was very rebellious as a girl. Guest guest
Chanalee: I don't have time to analyze everything you listed to come up with a pattern. However I will take a shot at some things. First, the last thing this lady needs is to get pregnant. She is not really stable in herself to bring another person into the world. I would spend some time educating her on the benefits of acupuncture for the other conditions she suffers from - liver, mentruation issues for one. Ask her to hold off on trying to get pregnant until you can bring her into balance more. Tell her it will make her more physically and mentally ready to have this baby - and to make the choice when she feels better. Get her in regular treatment and treat her overall constitution or patterns that you see. In the Five element tradition that I studied, I would clear what we call possession - either from mental or physical causes. JR Worsley describes this in his book. Then I would clear Aggressive Energy - Back Shu points - for yin meridians. Then zero in on your pattern diagnosis. Sounds like stuck liver Qi and Blood. You did LR 3. There is some deficiency (Blood, etc.) going on too. I would educate her on her diet - if she wants to get well she has to start eating warm soups not cold foods all day. She has a lot going on but what jumped out at me was spleen - I would tonify spleen and move stagnant liver Qi. and build blood (tonify UB 17 and 18 as well) as you have done. Hope this helps, Anne chanalee kaplan-Arusy wrote: > > Dear All! > I'm enclosing a case story of a patient of mine, I'd really like your > professional opinion so please only answer this if you are a practicing > practitioner of and have any insight > > Thanks in advance.. > > Chanalee > > > Height 1.56 her weight 58 kilograms > Profession: Administrative.
