Guest guest
Hi, I have one of these and find that 15 mins on it I feel strong energy sensations along the arm leg and back meridians,Im wondering if this is just a result of suddenly stopping from the figure of 8 movement or if it does get quite deep inot the energy system. Anyone else add to this? thanks
Guest guest
It is only temporary, and due to the stopping of movement. Similar to being on a boat going up and down, and then when you get off the boat, you feel internally, like your body is moving up and down. Qi can only be received by the body from the ingestion of food, inhaling, Person to person, Tree to person, and Qi Gong. Guest guest
Temporary satisfaction only leads to long term wanting. Thus, consistent use of the machine. The Way shows us that if we recognize that which helps us experience happiness, even in the short term, then we should experience it in the midst of unhappy perceptions. Yet, still persuing that which leads to long term effects will ensure a higher quality of experience and existence. Value is in perception. So is happiness. I could not say truthfully that it has no value to you, but I can say that I do not use it because it has no use in my life. Peace, Ai Wei --- nellshania <shanianell wrote: > > > Thankyou > > Would you say it has no value then? > > Chinese Medicine , > Aiwei Lin > <daoist_linaiwei> wrote: > > > > > > It is only temporary, and due to the stopping of > > movement. Guest guest
Hi What is this Chi machine that you are talking about, do you mean when you attach small electrodes to certaian points to stimulte the meridians or is their some thing else that I have not heard of. If it its this then it simply does stimulate your existing energy, some argue that electricity is not so suitable for the human body however from my experience it can still have a positive effect. The best is human energy but this can take years of dedication to truly develope such an ability. Regards Manu nellshania <shanianell wrote: Thankyou Would you say it has no value then? A patient of mine has one. It is harmless as long as no expectations are placed in it. It would be dangerous if it were used as a substitute for real medical or real tcm care. Guest guest
Hi, this chi machine seems like a fake, from my understanding chi does not move by shaking, chi is moved by thougths and gather through food and breath. This machine does nothign much shake your body, it won't work. khanh nellshania <shanianell wrote: - Hi No it is this machine here. http://seniors-site.com/ads/chi/design.html -- In Chinese Medicine , manu hamlin <manuhamlin> wrote: > > Hi > > What is this Chi machine that you are talking about, do you mean when you attach small electrodes to certaian points to stimulte the meridians or is their some thing else that I have not heard of. Guest guest
I have a QiGung instructor (Phd) that has a chi machine. The class was taught that it was designed to simulate the frequency emission that is similar to the frequencies that are emitted by the body during some medation. Ken Cohaen has a book, " The way of Qigung " that says a little about it. My instructor says it helps him. Examples of uses would be after a 14 hour flight and you just feel worn out, or after a long day of business meetings, etc. The effect is just temporary, but it is there or so I am told. Guest guest
Hey Matthew, Ken told me about the Ch'i machine when it first came out and i've been using it sporadically since. I find it to have some of - but not by any means all - the energetics of real Ch'i Kung. Doc Matthew Ackerman <mja55428 wrote: I have a QiGung instructor (Phd) that has a chi machine. Guest guest
This http://seniors-site.com/ads/chi/design.html is not the Ch'i Machine i was talking about. There is a Ch'i Machine that sends out pulses that are similar to some of the wave forms of the actual pulse of a practitioners hand. This swim machine can be nice for couch potatos but is not at all what i was talking about. Doc The all-new My – Get yours free!
Guest guest
Hi Doc Have you got a link to the machine you are talking about, as for the other machine just sounds like a gimmick to me. As I have been practicing Tai Chi and Chi Kung for over ten years I think it silly to say they can mimmick the vibration in meditation, and if they could how would they measure it. Please tell me more about this machine Doc. Regards Manu Doc <Doc wrote: This http://seniors-site.com/ads/chi/design.html is not the Ch'i Machine i was talking about.
