So it's next to T8. Now all I need is some diplomacy to convince this woman to let me needle Jin Jin Yu Ye (the points at the root of the tongue) at her first AP visit ever. I will first needle the rest of the points, and then tell her that the points are necessary in her case. I already saw and diagnosed her; she has very serious constitutional yin vacuity, which has now resulted in a dual yin yang vacuity. Her head and back are very hot, her limbs are very cold, serious back pain, severe insomnia, fatigue, water swelling and painful ankles. Also nausea and vomiting, and swollen and painful gums. Tongue red, short and stiff, tip very red, coating thick, greasy white. She drinks four cups of milk per day and I feel she isn't digesting thise very well. If people have any experience with treating similar cases, feel free to share your experience.
